Dr. Prakash V. Sontakke

I am Dr. Prakash V. Sontakke, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Nigdi, Pune with over 12 Years of teaching experience. 

I hold a Ph.D. in Electronics and Telecommunication with research specialization in Automotive Cyber Security, completed  under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nilkanth B. Chopade, Deputy Director, PCCOE Pune. I bring over 16 years of combined experience in the field of Education and Industry. 

I completed my M.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication (Electronics and Instrumentation) from College of Engineering Pune (COEP) in the year 2013 and my undergraduate degree from Shree Tuljabhavani College of Engineering, Tuljapur affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad,  in 2005.

My primary research interests include Computer Networks and Security (CNS), Internet of Things (IoT), and Automotive Cyber Security, with a focus on secure communication architectures, threat modeling, intrusion detection, and resilience of connected and intelligent automotive systems.
