I am a self taught artist who was born and brought up on the west coast of Scotland. It is a stunning place with some of the most varied geological features on the planet.  Add to this the dramatic ever changing light conditions and it is easy to see why it has been a source of inspiration to so many artists.

My style of painting has changed many times and only in the last few years have I found a media and style that I really enjoy working with. 

I usually prepare my canvas with gesso and structure pastes. Highly pigmented professional acrylics are then mixed with glaze and inks to create atmospheric landscape and seascape paintings.

Commissions - If you see a painting you like, but would prefer a different size or colour scheme to suit your space, please feel free to get in touch via email. All of my paintings are charged at 75p per square inch.
