The Grand Marshal of the 2025 Kensington Memorial Day Parade is Ponce y Familia! Ponce Sr. has been an integral part of the Kensington Community for over 55 years by providing a welcoming spot for locals and visitors to socialize and enjoy delicious Mexican food and excellent margaritas.

Our theme this year is Cheers to Kensington! Our amazing community looks out for one another, a spirit embodied by Ponce’s. In July 2023, Ponce and the Familia launched the “Ponce’s Cares” campaign which made a profound impact by raising over $13,000 in donations for organizations in and all around Kensington. This fundraising campaign has helped support Kensington programs such as Mid City Little League, Franklin Elementary School, The Heroic Tail dog rescue, Shelter to Soldier, Surfrider Foundation and many more. Thank you to Ponce y Familia and our amazing Kensington community.
