He has served as a Member of the Board of Management and has contributed to scrutiny and academic committees of various universities. He was also a Senate Member of Gujarat University, reflecting his strong involvement in academic policy and administration.

Dr. Soni has been associated as a committee member with several reputed universities, including:

Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University, Shri Govind Guru University
