This article is about the recent attack on gas in the U.S and how Americans suffered from the gas shortage while the system was under attack. Hackers have ways of getting into systems that are supposed to be locked and safe. The FBI confirmed it was a ransomware attack by a cyber crime group called the Darkside. DarkSide used a backdoor to access the servers of Colonial Pipeline and infected the company’s servers with ransomware. It has been said that colonial pipe should download ransomware protection in the future to prevent this type of attack.
