PLEASE NOTE that our physical offices have been relocated from Austin to Marble Falls, Texas and are now open and available for use by clients. Remote video conferencing via the Zoom platform is also available for legal consultations and mediations. Fees for Litigation & General Legal Services

For information regarding legal fees for representation in civil litigation or in general business and commercial matters, please contact our office and schedule an appointment. Office conferences are billed at our usual hourly rate. 

 Fees for Mediation

FEES FOR MEDIATION

 Half-day mediation session (4.0 hrs.):

• $450.00 per party for 1/2 day mediation with two parties

• $400.00 per party for 1/2 day mediation with three or more parties

 Full-day mediation session (7.5 hrs.):

• $850.00 per party for full day mediation with two parties

• $800.00 per party for full-day mediation with three or more parties

Mediations that extend more than 1/2 hour beyond their scheduled time will be billed at $250.00 per hour with final cost to be divided equally among the parties.

Mediation fees are charged on a “per party” basis. The number of parties is determined by counting all parties who are represented by the same attorney as one party. Additionally, if one party is represented by more than one attorney, that party is still considered as one party. Parties with aligned interests are considered as separate parties if they have separate attorneys. Mediation fees shall be deemed fully earned at the commencement of the mediation session. Payment of the mediation fee is due not later than the commencement of the mediation session. 

By-the-hour mediation sessions, including early morning and after work, and Saturday morning mediations are also available. Please contact our office manager, Deborah, for details.

Travel:  Requests for off-site sessions are easily accommodated but there may be additional charges for extended travel and overnight accommodations, if the mediation is more than 100 miles from our office. Please call for details. 

Cancellation or Rescheduling:  There is no charge for cancellation or rescheduling of your mediation. We understand "life happens." 

Fees for Arbitration

FEES FOR ARBITRATION

Our normal arbitration fee is $1,800 per day, divided equally among the parties, for each day required for the hearing.  In complex cases, additional time at an hourly rate may be charged for pre-hearing preparation time and for post-hearing deliberation and drafting of a decision.
