Profile of Professor Nathan G. Penn
I was trained in tutoring and earned citations as an outstanding tutor at Hampton University. Since then, I have been a professor of mathematics at Hampton University, Cuttington University, and Baltimore City Community College. I have a broad educational background, including: Bachelor of Arts with a double major in mathematics and psychology; Master of Education in Mathematics; Master of Science in Business Management; and Doctoral Studies in Evaluation and Analytical Methods.
My professional expertise include: Financial Systems Analyst at Fort Richie, Maryland; Security Systems Analyst at Fort Drum, New York; and Personnel Information Systems Analyst at US Army European Headquarters, Heidelberg, Germany. I retired as GS-12 Mathematical Statistician at the US Census Bureau. In retirement, I have made several trips to Liberia, West Africa as a Peace Corps Response Professor.
