What is Pelvic Floor Therapy?

Pelvic floor therapists are occupational or physical therapists who are experts in treating musculoskeletal disorders, and that includes treating the muscles of the pelvic floor and surrounding structures. I will address the structures of the pelvis, pelvic floor, abdominal and hip musculature, as well as the low back throughout your treatments. Many body systems can be affected by pelvic floor dysfunction and I will work with you to design a program that addresses the problem at the source.
