WHAT I OFFER:
A request-based session for at least one-hour, either using my own compact keyboard set-up or even the home's own piano/keyboard (if that's easier for everyone).
One recent highlight for me was performing at care homes on Christmas Day & Boxing Day in 2023, 2024 & 2025, so am happy to be flexible!
No two performances I do are ever the same, with residents, members, staff and visitors able to set the musical tone of the sessions. However, I do have some favourite tunes of my own in reserve if no suggestions are forthcoming!
I've learnt over the years that there's no "standard" genre or era for the people listening, and am as often asked for tunes from the last 30 years as often as material from the last 100.
I have Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and also a background check from my time working as a care assistant during COVID.
I have mainly played in homes and centres in North Hertfordshire, South Cambridgeshire, East Bedfordshire & West Suffolk, and on weekdays and weekends.
I'm happy to block book, but equally happy to operate on a singular booking basis too.

All the videos feature off-the-cuff requests from the residents, members, staff & visitors, though I have plenty of tunes & songs I like to play if nobody can think of anything. I can look a bit serious when concentrating!

ABOUT ME!
Hi everyone.
My name is Paul Davis and I live in the village of Melbourn (near Royston).
I was born in 1967 and started playing keyboards & guitar in 1974, something I'm happy to have continued to this day!
Although I also find myself playing keyboards or bass at gigs with duos and full bands (www.lemonrock.com/pauldavis), I especially enjoy playing solo piano in care homes and day centres, mainly because the "set" is always a complete surprise.
I have worked as a care assistant too, for several years in the mid-2000s and again briefly in 2021 (when COVID put a spanner in the works for much of the musical work I did!).
