Dr. Gokhale is our Director & Consultant Eye Surgeon . She is a UK trained , Uveitis and Retina Specialist .

She holds a stellar academic track record, having completed her MBBS from KEM Hospital in Mumbai , with distinction.

She then went on to complete her residency in Ophthalmology from TNMC and BYL Nair Hospital , Mumbai . She is a University Gold Medallist in M.S Ophthalmology exams , having achieved all this in the first attempt.

After spending another year at the BMC Eye Hospital in Mumbai, she then relocated to UK for further fellowship training.

She has worked at some of the finest eye institutes in the UK which include Birmingham Midland Eye Center, Moorfields Eye Hospital , London and the University Hospital Dorset NHS trust.

She has completed long term fellowship training in Uveitis, Medical Retina, Ocular Oncology and Ophthalmic Genetics at the Moorfields Eye Hospital in London , UK . She is a Fellow of the Royal College Of Ophthalmologists , UK and is registered with the General Medical Council , UK.

Her Special interests are adult and paediatric ocular inflammatory diseases & retinal diseases associated with medical conditions.

She is an avid reader, an amateur writer and a nature enthusiast .
