BIO

DRAWBARS are Niccoló Zanella on Tenor Saxophone, Tommaso Perazzo on Organ and Daniele Patton on Drums.

Drawbars is an instrumental trio exploring a wide range of jazz sounds, blending elements of swing, funk, modern jazz, and samba.
Featuring Niccolò Zanella on tenor saxophone, Tommaso Perzzo on Hammond organ, and Daniele Patton on drums, the band delivers a sound rooted in the Hammond trio tradition, enriched by contemporary influences and a personal approach to composition and arrangement.

The trio recently released their debut album, Saturday’s Vibe, entirely composed and arranged by the band members.
The album moves seamlessly from the energetic grooves of funk to the intimate atmospheres of modern jazz, through samba-inspired rhythmic structures and classic swing lines. Emphasizing the interaction among the three instruments, the music leaves ample space for improvisation.
Saturday’s Vibe represents a balance between respect for jazz roots and a desire to explore new musical directions, establishing Drawbars as a trio capable of combining tradition and innovation.

The music from the album, along with new original compositions, was presented live at the Valsugana Jazz Tour on December 28th 2025, and as part of the “All That Music” series at Laurin in Bolzano on January 16th 2026, further strengthening the band’s presence on the Italian jazz scene.
