Being Present with Health
Health flowers naturally when we observe ourselves with deep attention and care, without trying to achieve or become anything. The body has its own intelligence, its own capacity to heal and maintain balance. Our constant mental interference through worry, control and accumulated knowledge often creates tension and resistance. This natural intelligence works harmoniously with medical care when needed.
Can we observe how thought creates anxiety about health, how we resist illness, how we fragment our experience into what should and should not be? This very observation, without trying to change anything, brings its own understanding.
When we meet bodily sensations - whether pleasant or unpleasant - with quiet attention, we begin to see our whole relationship with health, including our fears and our attempts to control. This understanding doesn't negate medical care, but helps us respond with clarity rather than reaction.
Through this quality of awareness, we may discover that many health issues are intimately connected with our way of living - our relationship with food, rest, movement and stress. Not as something to fix, but as a reality to be understood deeply. When we see this clearly, without the interference of thought trying to achieve some ideal state, intelligent action flows naturally.
If you need medical assistance, please seek professional help. This approach complements but does not replace medical care.
