Phenomenal, newly renovated house split over 4 floors with its own lift inside. The kitchen/lounge area is particularly great with beautiful views of Lake Como. Everything in the apartment is brand new with plenty of high-end amenities, and there’s no road noise from within the flat. The manager (Michela) was really friendly and lives in the town, making check-in/check-out and recommendations very easy. I’ll definitely be coming back here!

Die Hauswartin wohnt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sie war per Telefon immer erreichbar. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Sie hat uns alles gezeigt im Haus. Auch die Umgebung hat sie bestens erklärt, damit wir wussten, was sich wo befindet und wo man gut essen kann. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Aussicht auf den Se ist wunderschön! Das ganze Haus ist aussergewöhnlich eingerichtet und mit vielen tollen Details ausgestattet! Der Standard ist toll und die Betten sehr bequem! Wir waren ausserordentlich zufrieden! Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

The views on the top floor of this property are spectacular. This property offers modern amenities plus Old World charm. Marcello has considered every detail to make his quests feel comfortable and relaxed Heads up, we used Google maps do find the property and drove just past the steep street close to the property where you will park to walk up to the front door. Thankfully, we were greeted by the neighbor who is available to welcome new guests and show you around the property. She was also very helpful making local recommendations.

This place is a must if you go to Lake Como and Laglio! The house is so beautiful with a lot of interesting design details, and the view over the lake is incredible! We were greeted by Micaela that introduced us very kindly to the place, and Marcello made sure that we were always satisfied. Over all a lovely staying!

Staying at Marcello's house is a one in a lifetime experience. Laglio is a magical place with an amazing view from the lake, the house is astonishingly beautiful and functional, a perfect place for holiday fun with friends and family. The hosts are very supportive and made our stay much better. If in Laglio, ask Michaela how to rent a Vespa, that is the cherry on the top of the cake!

A lovely and unusual vertical apartment (with lift) in a quiet village in Laglio. Modern, clean design. Great views of the lake from the upstairs area. Other than the wonderful butcher/restaurant 305 steps downhill near the water you would do well to have a car to get around the area. Also, we found the aircon in the upstairs kitchen/lounge room insufficient to cool the house (32C daytime when we visited). Lastly, kitchen does not have an oven.

Beautiful newly renovated property - This home in Laglio is spectacular! Marcello has done a fantastic job with this total renovation. All modern amenities mixed with original architecture makes for a truly stunning home! It has four levels with an elevator and the view from the top floor is amazing! The property manager, Michela is very kind and helpful and lives close by so is always available to help. I would definitely stay here again!

I'm of the 7 guest that stayed in this house and the unlucky one to set the lovely bed on the botton floor. So, i decided to move the bed to laundry room by the elvator and put up the divider by entrance, creatins my own my little corner. I had the best bathroom in the house all to myself and i enjoyed sleeppings in my bed! 5/5

We just left after a wonderful week at Como Lakestone villa. It was magical! The views are beautiful, the quaint village surrounding with a 5 min walk down to the coffee shop near the lake was my daily routine. Marcello has done an amazing job building a modern comfortable home in a 250 year old historic home. If anything the description undersells the magical setting of the home. It’s a great value for the price you pay and I’d do it for even 2x the price with the comfortable modern home, space for 6-8 people to spread out, rather than staying in a cramped hotel room. The host Michela (Miky) was very accommodating, received us late at night, had recommendations for restaurants and things to do nearby and even sent us tomatoes from her garden! My kids and wife REALLY felt at home and if only we could stay another week, we’d do it in a heartbeat. We’ll definitely be back.

This property was magnificent!!! It just was picture perfect. Someone said it was this incredible mix of old and new styles and there is no better way to explain it. I will always remember our time there. My daughters said it was the most incredible place they have ever seen. You are in the middle of all these cobble streets and seems like a different time. Some of the reviews talked about air conditioning issues (which matters less as we go into fall) but there were air conditioners in each room and the best in two weeks in this part of Europe. So that has been corrected. Also, my AirBnb for Lake Como was cancelled 5 days before. I was in tears as that owner suggested I go to the Hilton. When I reached out to Marcello to find a replacement property, he was so flexible and kind. This property and men like Marcello are really what makes Airbnb so special. We had incredible food and experiences there. Some of the best in my life so if you are going to this region want to share a few restaurants: Ristoranta Acqua Dolce – very close to the villa & Crotto dei Platani in Brienno Also if you want to hire a boat for the day look up Lake Como by Boat with host Roberto (could not post a link for some reason. My teenage daughters felt like movie stars on this boat and Roberto was just so knowledgeable and fun to talk to. The 2nd restaurant above Roberto took us too. The staff met us off the boat and immediately served us prosecco – such a memory! And the food was incredible. And if you want to do a cooking class, I could not recommend this one more in Como (an Airbnb Experience). Alex (and her mom and sister) make you feel like family. My oldest daughter loves to cook and Alex took extra time to show her some more expert tricks. Airbnb would not let me post a link but it is homemade pasta and host is AlexFancy. So all in all Lake Como as a destination was amazing and definitely is one of those places I would love to come to again and again!
