The Black Pride NL Foundation's treasurer is a board member with the specific task of managing and monitoring its finances. To this end, this person participates in board meetings. The treasurer keeps track of revenue and expenditure and reports on the past period during board meetings. In July, the treasurer provides a half-yearly overview of the finances and an annual report of the previous year for the board's benefit in January. After approval by the board, the treasurer delivers this annual report and the accounts to the accountant. If desired, the treasurer consults with the accountant and reports to the board. The treasurer also submits a draft budget for the following year every year in October. The board then approves the budget, if agreed upon.

De penningmeester van Stichting Black Pride NL is een bestuurslid met de specifieke taak om de financiën te beheren en te bewaken. Daartoe neemt deze persoon deel aan bestuursvergaderingen. De penningmeester houdt de inkomsten en uitgaven bij en rapporteert tijdens bestuursvergaderingen over de afgelopen periode. In juli geeft de penningmeester een halfjaarlijks overzicht van de financiën en een jaarverslag van het voorgaande jaar aan het bestuur in januari. Na goedkeuring door het bestuur levert de penningmeester dit jaarverslag en de verantwoording aan de accountant. As a Content Marketeer you are good at creating impactful content for the Black Pride NL social media and you work together with the current social media manager. You know your way around the most important digital communication channels; email marketing, websites and social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, and how to use the different channels for optimal engagement and impact.

In consultation with the board and coordinators, you create a social media content calendar and actively create the relevant material together with volunteers.

You are preferably proficient in graphic design, a fast learner who can pick up on the latest digital trends and tools. You learn quickly and can adapt quickly, also to new processes. You are a hands-on go-getter with a keen eye for detail and curiosity about all things digital.

Profile Content Marketeer

Persons who are eligible for the position of Content Marketeer should preferably have the following characteristics:

• Experience and affinity with visual design, content creation and social media management

• Experience with and knowledge of graphic design is an advantage

• The ability to identify content needs and determine the right channels

• Knowledge of multimedia content production (e.g. working with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop but also Premier Pro  & CapCut).

• An excellent oral and written command of English and Dutch (other languages are a plus)

• A good understanding of online community building

• Web content writing experience and copywriting skills

The spokesperson of the Black Pride foundation plays a crucial role in representing the organization. You are considered the ‘face’ of the foundation as you verbally and sometimes visually carry out the organization’s values and norms. This can be at a radio broadcast, television broadcast, during a panel discussion, interviews etc. 

Before any public speaking you must always consult the board, to speak in line with the broader vision and mission of the Black Pride foundation. It is required to understand the organizations house of values (by heart) when representing. Besides speaking on behalf of the foundation you also attend Black Pride meetings and you stay well informed of the tasks and content of the other Black Pride members, such as volunteer coordinator, community care, the Black Pride events and the board. Preferably, you also actively have links with potential interesting parties such as media creators and other relevant network members. 

Profile spokesperson:

Persons eligible for the role of spokesperson of Black Pride NL should preferably have the following characteristics:

• You endorse the objectives of Black Pride NL and are committed to achieving them.

• The Black Pride house of values (including vision and mission) are like second nature to you

• You are a speaker who knows how to react to the media, also in potential ‘difficult’ conversations or situations

• You speak strongly and convincingly, remain calm, maintain an overview and act effectively and efficiently

• You can switch quickly between different activities and unexpected jobs, sometimes with a high workload

• You are familiar with the (in)formal rules, different positions, and interests in the organization, and, if necessary, you are creative in dealing with them.

• You can build up a network quickly, and you call in the right people internally and externally for support and cooperation

• You have a proactive and social attitude, you are a good representative and can work well with others

• You can stand up well in a dynamic environment, keep an overview and always see opportunities to respond to changing circumstances.

De woordvoerder van de Black Pride stichting speelt een cruciale rol in het vertegenwoordigen van de organisatie in z’n geheel. Als woordvoerder ben je het ‘visitekaartje’ van de organisatie en draag je verbaal (en soms visueel) de normen en waarde uit van Black Pride NL. Denk hierbij aan radio-uitzendingen, televisie-uitzendingen, vertegenwoordiging tijdens een talk of paneldiscussie, interviews enzovoort. 

Voor elk mediaoptreden is er altijd afstemming met de board, zodat er zoveel mogelijk wordt gesproken in lijn met de visie en missie van de Black Pride stichting. Als woordvoerder is het de bedoeling de organisatiewaarden van binnen en buiten te kennen. Naast het vertegenwoordigen van de organisatie ben je ook op de hoogte van de verschillende taken en inhoud van andere teammembers en events. Bijvoorbeeld de vrijwillig coördinator, community care, de Black Pride events en het bestuur. Bij voorkeur maak je actief connecties met aan het potentieel interessante partijen zoals mediamakers en andere relevante netwerkleden.

Dat is onder meer: het halfjaarlijks overzicht van de financiën en het jaarverslag van het voorgaande jaar aan het bestuur in januari. Om deze reden, en indien gewenst stemt de fondsenwerver af met de penningmeester en het bestuur.
