Explore the Trail. Discover the Past.
Join us for History & Hiking: a free, guided hike along the scenic Roberts Lake Trail in downtown. As we walk, our former City Manager will share fascinating stories about the areas natural and historical significance, including the trail itself, Long Swamp Creek, and the historic Roberts Dam.
This moderate hike is suitable for all ages.
What to bring: water, comfortable shoes, and your curiosity!
BALL GROUND CREEK CLEAN_UP - Saturday, October 10 - 10:00-1:00pm
The annual Creek Cleanup is a great opportunity for our community to come together and make a difference. I’ve been participating for years, even before serving on council.
Grab your family, friends, or community group and join us! A little dirt and sweat make the results even more rewarding.
3RD ANNUAL DOWNTOWN BALL GROUND CHILI COOK-OFF - Saturday, October 10 - 12:00 - 1:00 pm
Get ready for the 3rd Annual Downtown Ball Ground Chili Cook-Off!
Sign up and enter to showcase your chili skills OR stop by to enjoy each chili and vote for your favorite! There will be different categories and prizes for each.
Enjoy a day in downtown, do a little shopping, grab lunch, grab a treat, listen to live music, and stop by the courtyard to try some incredible chili. Whether you are eating or competing, it is sure to be a great time!

BALL GROUND MARCH OF THE TOYS PARADE FOR TOYS FOR TOTS - Friday, Decemeber 4 - parade starts at 7:00 pm

The March of the Toys Parade rolls through Downtown Ball Ground on December 4th at 7:00 PM!
While the parade is full of magic, music, and memories, the true star is Toys for Tots.
Please remember to bring a new, unwrapped toy and help us collect as many gifts as possible for local children in need.
I’m proud to continue volunteering with this wonderful community event. I’ll be helping place and collect Toys for Tots donation boxes at local businesses and deliver the donated toys to Toys for Tots, helping make the holiday season a little brighter for children in our community.

A Flag Disposal Box is located outside City Hall and is available to anyone who has an American flag that is no longer fit for display and needs to be properly retired.
A simple way to show respect for the flag we all cherish.
