Author's Writing Journey:
The above link for the presentation of the author's writing journey
It would be hard for many people to believe that I am an author. I found out that age is just a distraction from finalizing and completing our tasks. I was also aware that a small flame can lead to a huge fire in my journey. The books I wrote were the thoughts. The hard work which I got on my journey helped me reach my goal and destination of being a published author.
The hard work that I applied in my tasks led me to get a very new identity. I have once come across this quote “Hard Work never fails” which was a motivational identity and played a vital role in the world of books and publishing. This had also influenced my journey of writing that I wanted to share with you. My parents and my communicator teacher were the actual aspects of my writing journey, who gave me the start into the writing world and developed me to explore more into it.
My journey into the writing world commenced when I was around 7 years old. How did my journey start? That is when my journey started when one of my father’s friends got me some books that contained several stories that I could read at that time. I was a huge fan of the army at that time, and I was staggered to see that the main theme of those books was the armies. I was excited to leaf through the pages because it was one of the concepts that I admire the most. That is when I was exposed to reading habits. I relished reading those books. I went through them three times in a row.
My mother saw that I was so interested in reading and so she decided to take me to a lending library where I could lend books. First, I came upon reading very short and simple classic books from the library shelves. I then gradually developed my reading skills because I adored books from the racks. I decided to move on step by step and I then came across a book that caught my attention. I started going on with Geronimo Stilton’s books which inspired me to move on with writing. I got a hold of their books that I read for 4 years straight. They had a series of about 300 books. I came across all of those 300 books in these 4 years which motivated and inspired me to develop writing skills. A small flame of reading had led me to reach a huge fire of writing.
Why and how did I develop my writing skills? There is a humorous story behind how I got into this publishing world and books. It was the beginning of the year 2020 and I wanted to write a diary for the year. My mother’s office usually gives away some diaries to its employees and I decided to take a chance. I asked my mother to get me a diary and guess what? She got it for me on the 2nd of February. I thought it was useless when I suddenly came across a plan. I decided to take up writing in my diary to write short adventurous stories. I then continued with the book for about 41 short stories.
It was going well when one day, my father gave me an idea to publish those. I cringed when I heard it first back then but, I thought it was marvelous to get going on. So, we tried many and many publishers but we were not able to catch up with them. One day, it was astonishing that my mother got a new publisher to move on with. I was happy and then I started doing a whole lot of hard work to make my stories the best in the next class. I took the concept of the stories which I wrote from the diary and evolved those concepts into the next class. Soon, the book was published on January 23, 2021. When I look back on my journey, it makes me dumbfounded that an army-themed series of books has led to the habit of reading and a diary which led to the skill of writing.
It was my communicator teacher who had the potential to improve my writing skills and develop them to the next step. She was a huge token of appreciation in developing my skills from communicating to writing.
