Project Graduation is a celebration organized by the parents/guardians of graduates to ensure a safe night of celebration without alcohol and other drug type substances. Project Graduation has become an annual event for graduating seniors to keep them safe on the night of their graduation immediately following their graduation ceremony. This event has historically been kept a secret up until the day of! The students will board the buses and head to an unknown location to begin their celebration. Project Graduation is an alcohol and drug free event. Committee members will fundraise for this event and decide on and secure a venue.
This program began as a way to hold safe celebrations and reduce the number of alcohol and drug related crashes and has now become an annual event that is offered by many high schools around the country.
