Coach Muir is entering his fifth year as a Head Wrestling Coach at West Valley High School. In that time, he has coached 18 Master's Tournament placers and a CIF State placer, with more to come.
Before taking on the head coaching position at West Valley, he gained extensive experience across multiple levels of competition. He spent six years as an assistant coaching in the (NSCIF) section and three years coaching in the (SSCIF) section, in addition to a year at the college level where he achieved an NAIA placer. Throughout his assistant coaching career, he has developed multiple Masters Tournament placers and a 2x CIF State Runner-up.
As an athlete, Coach Muir wrestled for Dickinson State University where he was a NAIA National Qualifier his freshman year. He then transferred to Montana State University-Northern, here he was also a NAIA National Qualifier as well, and helped his team become the 2004 NAIA National Champions. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Diesel Technology, along with Associates degree in Diesel Technology. He also attending Orange Coast College in California for his Associates degree in Aviation.
In high school, he was a standout athlete in Montana, Multiple sports person and highly awarded athlete. He was a 3x Montana state placer, taking 4th as a Freshman and 5th as a Junior for Darby High School. His senior year he attended Ronan High School were he was a Montana State Runner up.

Coach Shaw/Lindahl is entering his 4th season as an assistant wrestling coach at West Valley High School. He spent two years leading the girls' program and is now working with the boys' team. Over the past several seasons, he has developed a reputation for bringing energy, technical knowlege, and a genuine care for the athletes both on and off the mat.
As a competitor, Coach Shaw/Lindahl wrestled for Simpson University for three years. After redshirting his freshman year, he earned the starting spot at 141 pounds as a sophomore and 149-pounder as a junior. His time at Simpson taught him the value of hard work, resilience, and leadership in competitive college environment. While at Simpson, he majored in Mathematics before transferring to Institute of Technology, where he earned a Associate's degree in Physical Therapy. He is now a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, a career that reflects his passion for helping others stay strong, healthy, and able to perform at their best.
Coach Dulen is a proud West Valley graduate, Coach Dulen first discovered her love for wrestling in high school, serving as a statistician before girls were given the opportunity to compete. Her passion for the sport continued as she became involved with the junior program that feeds into West Valley, supporting her nephews and sister, who served as head coach.
When her two children entered West Valley, both became wrestlers, and she recognized the need for stronger program support. In response, she founded the West Valley Wrestling Booster Club, helping provide essential funding and resources for the team.
In 2023, Coach Dulen stepped into the role of Girls Head Coach, bringing her lifelong dedication to the program full circle. Now entering her second season, she is excited to be part of the growth of women's wrestling and remains committed to empowering athletes through the team motto: "You can do hard things." Her goal is for every wrestler to leave the mat knowing that with effort and perseverance, they are capable of achieving more than they ever thought possible.
Coach Lobsinger has dedicated nearly four decades to the sport of wrestling, beginning his coaching career in 1985 and continuing to the present day. A former wrestler himself, Coach Lobsinger competed for six years and was a state qualifier, building the foundation for his lifelong commitment to the sport.
Over the years, he has coached both boys and girls across the Bay Area and Northern Section (NSCIF) helping athletes reach new heights on and off the mat. His leadership has guided wrestlers to 7 state podium finishes and 3 national placements, a testament to his ability to develop athletes at the highest levels of competition.
Coach Lobsinger's philosophy is simple yet powerful: work hard to place high; set your goals high, and along the way, every smaller goal will be achieved on you journey to the top. He believes in installing discipline, resilience, and confidence in his wrestlers, while emphasizing that success is built step by step.
Beyond wrestling, his priorities remain rooted in his faith and family, which, together with wrestling, form the three guiding pillars of his life.
Coach Marshall is a 2010 graduate of Corning High School, where he excelled on the wrestling mat and capped off his senior season as the NSCIF runner-up. After high school, he continued competing at Lassen Community College, gaining valuable experience at the collegiate level and developing a deeper understanding of the sport.
Coach Marshall brings the same drive and discipline that fueled his own career into mentoring young wrestlers. He is dedicated to helping athletes sharpen their technique, build mental toughness, and embrace the hard work that wrestling demands. His goal is not only to develop competitive wrestlers but also to instill lessons of perseverance and character that will carry into life beyond the mat.
