PIKE Powderpuff

For our first philanthropy event we hosted a powderpuff football game that was composed of 6 teams. We raised over $500+ toward our charity for this event the RDVIC, the Rape and Domestic Violence Information Center. This is a local organization that provides women’s support services for Monongalia County. For this being our first event, it was pretty successful overall. In terms of gaining notoriety with the RDVIC, it was a pretty big success. Our primary goal for this event was not only to raise money, but to also to develop relationships with our philanthropy and organizations on campus. Being a new organization, I felt it was important to show that we would be better than those who came before.

PIKE Volleyball

We hosted a philanthropy volleyball event to benefit the RDVIC(Rape and Domestic Violence Information Center).  We invited sororities and fraternities on campus to try and boost our connections and help support a great cause. We played indoor volleyball for 15 minutes to try and get the games moving and people actively Involved. Each individual team had two-three brothers assigned to coach them and support them while playing. We ended up making over $600+ towards the RDVIC .
