INDIANAPOLIS – Waubonsie Valley High School’s Project Lead the Way (PLTW) program was named as a Distinguished School for a 7th year.
PLTW is a national nonprofit organization that provides education and pathways in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science for PreK-12 students.
The PLTW Distinguished School recognition honors schools committed to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in their PLTW programs. To be eligible for the designation, Waubonsie Valley had to meet multiple criteria in the 2023-24 school year, such as number of PLTW courses available to students, percent of students enrolled in PLTW, and percent of students taking more than one PLTW course.
Waubonsie Valley was one of only 29 Illinois High Schools to achieve Distinguished status. For more information on Project Lead the Way, visit pltw.org.
