About Me
Before I was navigating the complex world of building codes and zoning laws, I was in the dirt. I spent years as a pipelayer and heavy equipment operator, learning the construction industry from the ground up. I know what it’s like to have a crew waiting, a deadline looming, and a project stalled because of a paperwork technicality.
With over 10 years of experience in construction, permitting, and land use, I’ve transitioned from the field to the public sector. Today, I serve as a Planning and Building Permit Technician for a local jurisdiction. I’ve seen firsthand the frustration of hundreds of applicants who feel abandoned by the system—homeowners and contractors told to "figure it out yourself" by a rigid governmental process.
I didn't just learn the rules; I mastered them. I am an International Code Council (ICC) Registered Permit Technician, as well as a certified Residential Building Inspector, Housing and Property Maintenance Inspector, and Code Enforcement Officer. Additionally, I hold my Oregon Inspector Certification (OIC) through the State of Oregon. My background isn't just based on experience—it’s backed by the highest level of professional credentials in the industry.
Willamette Valley Permit Pro is a small, family-run business born out of a simple realization: people deserve a partner who actually cares about their success. I know that behind every permit application is a family trying to build their dream home or a contractor trying to run a business.
I started this company to take the hard work away from you. My goal is to use my "insider" knowledge of the system to ensure a smooth, easy process without the headache. Whether you need a land use consultation, a site plan, or full permit management, I am here to bridge the gap between your vision and the city’s requirements.
