At WVGSA, all students experience daily interdisciplinary instruction, spending 2 class periods studying each of the majors. Inspired by the Music Will curriculum for Modern Band, students functioned as studio musicians, learning to perform a generic accompaniment in Country, Blues, or Rock using guitars, bass, keyboards, and drumset. Each class would then accompany interdisciplinary vocal music students who would compose original lyrics and melodies.
