If you need to take a photo or create a short video on your Chromebook, you can use the Camera app that is already installed. The tutorial below walks you through finding the camera app, pinning it to the taskbar, migrating your photos to your Google Drive (if needed), and finding your photos. The second tutorial walks you through how to insert a photo into a Google Slides presentation using your Chromebook.

With your WeVideo account (free) you can create up to 5 minutes of video for a project. You will need to remove (offload) videos when complete to make room for other projects. Once completed, you can download, or you can upload to Youtube for safe keeping. Note a few of these videos feature the older interfact, but the features still work the same!

With the Screencastify Chrome extension, you can record your own screen, add yourself picture-in-picture in the corner, or record yourself/your project full screen. Videos save directly to your Google Drive.
