Why it no longer works? Check out my rant findings : On this Page
Go to your game Files and follow the path given below,
a. For Standalone/Epic Games Install Path:\Wuthering Waves\Wuthering Waves Game\Client\Binaries\Win64\
b For Steam: Install Path:\Wuthering Waves\Client\Binaries\Win64\
Open Client-Win64-Shipping.exe located in that folder,
Q. Where is my Wuthering Waves folder located? (Standalone launcher and Steam)
-> Click Here
From the launcher (For above 2000 Series Nvidia GPUS, 5000 series or above AMD Gpus, All intel ARC gpus)
1) Go to Wuthering Waves install location
Ex- Drive:\Wuthering Waves\Wuthering Waves Game\Client\Binaries\Win64\Client-Win64-Shipping.exe
2) Right Click and create a Shortcut of the above file.
3) Right click the new shortcut -> Properties -> Target
4) Add -dx12 (or -dx11 based on what you need) after the target path. Refer to image
Right Click Wuthering Waves
Select Properties
Under Launch Options put -dx11 -force (or -dx12 -force
Note: Only works for Nvidia, AMD, Intel GPUs which support Ray Tracing) . Otherwise Check Method 2 above. Otherwise it will always launch in dx11 regardless of launch options
Hard Disks are known to cause FPS problems and Lag in Wuthering Waves
Windows Settings and click on Wuthering Waves -> Options -> High performance

If you don't know what this is, then you probably don't have it turned ON. So Ignore this.
AMD GPUs have PRO drivers and Nvidia GPUs have Studio Drivers
Steps on How to install PRO Drivers for AMD GPUs:
Click Here or go to https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html
Click on "Download Windows Drivers"
Open the installer.
Select PRO as seen in the Image
Continue the installation as normal.
Steps on How to install Studio Drivers for Nvidia.
Click Here or Go to https://www.nvidia.com/en-in/software/nvidia-app/
Download the Studio Drivers as shown in the image.
Launch the installer and complete the installation as usual.
1) 8GB ram
8GB ram is not enough to run Wuwa smoothly. You can temp fix it by closing all background applications.(PS: upgrade to 16GB, it's cheap)
2) Having an iGPU(Older) or a GPU worse than 1030
1030 is below the minimum requirement of the games but imo is the least amount of GPU required to run the game at playable fps on 720p Lowest setting. (You can try GeForce now until you upgrade your pc)
3) Hard Disks(HDD)
These also are known to cause issues in wuwa so please avoid them if you have the option.
4) The game is not running on the dedicated GPU
Sometimes the game will run on the iGPU of the cpu. IF you are on laptop turn off power saving mode and see if any software that comes with the laptop is causing this issue.
