Walmart Ultimate Tekken League Rules and Regulations


§ 1 General provisions

1. The organizer of the tournament called "Walmart Ultimate Tekken League" (hereinafter: Tournament) is Kajetan Hnitecki and Brajan Sawicki (hereinafter: Organizer).

§ 2 Date and place of the Tournament

1. The tournament is conducted on the premises of the Eighty Nine Billiard Club located at Marcina Kasprzaka 31, 01-234 Warsaw, hereinafter referred to as the "Club".

2. The tournament takes place on 03.04.2023r. Start of the Tournament at 19:00. Registration at 18:30.

3. Registration of Participants based on the registration form. The registration form is available at https://sites.google.com/view/wutl/home or at the Club from the Organizer ONLY on the day of the Tournament.

4. The results of the Tournament will be available on the website or Facebook, if possible.

§ 3 Rules of the Tournament

1. The competition system depends on the number of participants.

2. Each player chooses his character at the beginning of each match.

3. The use of the "Options" button, during the match being played, is prohibited.

4. In case one of the Participants does not complete a given match (withdraws or is disqualified), all matches of the player will be recorded as a walkover win for the opposing party (regardless of previous results). In case one of the participants does not complete a given phase of the match (withdraws or is disqualified), all matches of the pair to which he/she belongs will be recorded as a walkover win for the opposing side (regardless of previous results).

5. The tournament will be played in II stage according to the following scheme : Stage I (applies to each Participant).

REGISTRATION.

- personal application for participation in the tournament

- acceptance of the content of these Regulations

- providing personal data in the form of name and email address in the form indicated by the Organizer

- Completion of the application form from 23/03/2023 to 02/04/2023, available at https://sites.google.com/view/wutl/home

Stage II (applies to each Participant) ELIMINATIONS / ELECTION OF WINNER.

- Personal appearance by Participants during the matches at the Club on 03.04.2023. at 18.30.

- The duels will consist of five rounds ( except for the duels for I, II, III place, which will consist of seven rounds), with a maximum length of 60 seconds each,

The tournament is held in a knockout or group system (depending on the number of Participants. We reserve the right to change the system before the very beginning of the Tournament), players, who face each other in matches will be selected in the order of drawing pairs at the beginning of the tournament ( in the first stage ).

The games:

The winners will be matched in pairs according to the schedule set by the Organizer - in cases of dispute, the Organizer will decide.

§ 4 Game settings

1. The game settings will be the same at each position and their rules are described below:

■ Game type: VS mode

■ Map: Random

■ Restrictions on the choice of heroes: none

■ Preliminaries: maximum 5 rounds, 60 seconds ; Finals: maximum 7 rounds, 60 seconds

§ 5 Unfair play


1. It is forbidden to use the "Options" button during the match.

2. The following activities will be considered unsportsmanlike play:

a) deliberately turning off the console or projector

b) Obviously allowing the opponent to win the match

c) uncultured behavior, inappropriate and unprofessional actions directed against another player (in the game)

3. If a violation of one of the points considered unsportsmanlike play is detected by any player, the player may receive a warning, lose by walkover or, in extreme cases, be disqualified from the tournament, depending on the type of behavior, the number of warnings, on the basis of which such a decision is made by the Organizer.

§ 6 Prohibited actions and penalties

1. The goal of the Organizer is to organize the Tournament on a fair and equal basis for all. Bearing in mind that not all situations in the game can be predicted and determined, it is decided that the final decision in each case is made by the Organizer. He acts on the basis of a sense of fairness and justice. The Rules are a clear determinant of what a Tournament Participant can and should not do, but in disputed or more complicated cases the Organizer's opinion is decisive.

2. The most important principle guiding the Tournament is fair-play. Therefore, the Organizer obliges players to:

a) observe the rules of personal culture

b) show forbearance and seek compromise in the event of technical problems with the opponent

c) conflict mitigation

d) fair play without using any illegal boosters

e) observe etiquette and other generally applicable social norms

3. The value of the items destroyed or damaged by the Tournament Participant shall be paid by the Participant at fault.

§ 7 Scoring system and rules for proceeding to the next Stage

1. Advancement to the next stages will be determined by winning ( information about winning at the end of the game ), or by point advantage or percentage ( in case of exceeding the allowed time of the game ) depending on the particular game.

2. In cases of dispute, the Organizer shall decide.

§ 8 Awards

1. The prize pool is allocated 50% of the funds collected at enrollment.

§ 9 Liability of the participant

1. The liability of the Tournament Organizer to the Tournament Participant, in respect of claims raised under these Regulations, related to the entitlements granted to the Tournament Participants is limited to the value of the prize awarded.

2. The above limitation does not exclude the rights granted to Participants by law.

3. The organizer is not responsible for the consequences of providing false or inaccurate data in connection with the application for participation in the Tournament.

4. The Organizer is not responsible for the failure of the Tournament Participant to appear to collect the prize.

5. The Organizer shall not be liable for any misrepresentation or change by the Tournament Participant of his/her data and the resulting inability to receive or failure to receive the prize.
