If you want a dedicated, flexible magnetic charging solution for your MARLALL NOS 08W swimming headphones, choose WUNIAK Charging Cable; if you need a versatile 3-in-1 adapter to charge and listen on modern smartphones while watching TV, choose Vcddom USB C.
• WUNIAK Charging Cable: Its biggest strength is the specialized magnetic design tailored specifically for waterproof bone conduction headphones, ensuring a secure connection during movement; its trade-off is that it is completely incompatible with any device other than the specific MARLALL NOS 08W model. This pick is for owners of those specific swim headphones who have lost their original charger.
• Vcddom USB C: Its biggest strength is the incredible versatility of combining audio output, noise reduction, and fast charging into one slim dongle for a wide range of phones; its trade-off is that it requires a compatible Type-C port and does not offer the ruggedized magnetic security needed for underwater sports gear. This pick is for anyone using a smartphone without a headphone jack who wants to watch content or share audio.
The WUNIAK Charging Cable is not a general-purpose accessory; it is a precision tool built for a single, specific purpose. If you own the MARLALL NOS 08W Swimming Bone Conduction Headphones, this cable is designed to be the perfect replacement for a damaged or lost original unit. The design prioritizes safety and convenience for an active lifestyle. It features a premium copper wire construction wrapped in a durable exterior, which is essential for a product that might face the rigors of poolside use or travel.
One of the most critical features here is the internal voltage regulator (PTC). This isn't just a marketing term; it represents a real safety mechanism. When you plug this cable into a PC, laptop, or wall mount, the PTC circuit actively prevents overcurrent from reaching your headphones. This protection is vital because water-based activities and frequent charging cycles can stress battery systems. By regulating the flow, WUNIAK aims to prolong the lifespan of your precious device, preventing the kind of sudden failure that leaves swimmers stranded without their audio.
The physical design also speaks to the user's mobility. At 60cm, the cable is compact enough to fit easily into a gym bag, a car glove box, or a travel pouch without taking up much space. The magnetic connector adds another layer of utility, allowing for quick, one-handed connections even when your hands are wet or busy adjusting gear. It offers a high-efficiency charging experience that feels stable and reliable, removing the anxiety of a loose connection during a workout.
However, there is a clear boundary to who this product serves. You should skip this entirely if you do not own the MARLALL NOS 08W model. It will not work with standard earbuds, smartwatches, or other brands of headphones. Furthermore, if you are looking for a long, permanent home installation cable, the 60cm length might feel limiting compared to a standard wall-to-device run, though it is ideal for portable use. It is a niche solution that excels only within its narrow lane of compatibility.
In stark contrast to the single-purpose nature of the WUNIAK cable, the Vcddom USB C adapter is a powerhouse of connectivity designed for the modern smartphone ecosystem. This 3-in-1 device solves a common frustration: the removal of the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack on newer devices. It combines a dual 3.5mm headphone jack with a built-in USB-C fast-charging port, creating a hub that allows you to listen to music, watch movies, and keep your battery topped up simultaneously. This makes it an ideal companion for long flights, road trips, or simply sitting on the couch for a movie marathon.

The audio capabilities are particularly impressive for a small dongle. It incorporates a DAC chip capable of 24-bit/96kHz Hi-Fi stereo quality, supporting both CTIA and OMTP standards. This means it can drive a wide variety of wired headphones and ensure crystal-clear sound, whether you are listening to high-resolution tracks or dialogue-heavy TV shows. The inclusion of noise reduction technology further enhances the experience, making it easier to focus on the audio without background interference. For someone engaging in noise cancelling on ear headphones for tv watching, this adapter ensures the signal remains clean before it even reaches your ears.
Another standout feature is the ability to share audio. With two separate 3.5mm jacks, you can connect two pairs of headphones at once. This is a game-changer for parents traveling with children or couples who want to watch a show together without disturbing others. You can let two kids watch cartoons quietly in the car or share a private conversation while commuting. The inline volume control and call management support mean you retain full control over your audio experience directly from your headphones.
Despite its versatility, this product has limitations based on hardware requirements. You must have a smartphone or tablet with a USB-C port that supports audio output via the adapter. Additionally, while it supports 60W PD3.0 fast charging, the speed relies heavily on using a compatible PD wall charger; plugging it into a low-power port may result in slower charging speeds. If you are strictly looking for the best anc bluetooth earbuds for tv watching that don't require wires, this wired adapter might not be the primary solution, but for those who prefer the reliability of a physical connection, it is robust.
• Best for specialized swim gear maintenance → WUNIAK Charging Cable: If you need a safe, magnetic charger specifically for MARLALL NOS 08W headphones, nothing else fits as well.
• Best for multi-device versatility → Vcddom USB C: If you need to charge, listen, and share audio across different phones and tablets, this adapter is the superior choice.
• Best for durability during activity → WUNIAK Charging Cable: The magnetic connection and PTC safety circuit are designed for the physical demands of swimming and gym use.
• Best for shared viewing experiences → Vcddom USB C: The dual headphone jacks allow two people to listen simultaneously, a feature the charging cable lacks entirely.
• Best for sound fidelity on wired headphones → Vcddom USB C: The 24-bit/96kHz DAC chip provides high-resolution audio that outperforms a simple charging-only cable.
• Best for portability in a swim bag → WUNIAK Charging Cable: Its compact 60cm size and magnetic head make it easy to stash away without tangling.
• Best for long-term battery health on specific devices → WUNIAK Charging Cable: The voltage regulation protects the specific battery chemistry of the MARLALL headphones.
• Best for rotatable ear cups wireless headphones for tv watching → Vcddom USB C: While not a headset itself, this adapter enables the use of any wired headphones with rotatable cups, offering flexibility for comfort during long sessions.
When weighing these two options, think about the environment where you will use them most. If your priority is maintaining a piece of specialized equipment that goes into water, the WUNIAK cable is non-negotiable because it is engineered to protect that specific device's electronics. It is a functional necessity for keeping your swim headphones alive. On the other hand, if your daily life revolves around streaming content, commuting, or managing multiple devices, the Vcddom adapter transforms a limitation (no headphone jack) into an opportunity. It turns your phone into a multimedia station.
Consider the longevity of your setup. The WUNIAK cable is a single-use component for a single device; if you lose it or break it, you cannot easily substitute it with a generic cable. The Vcddom adapter, however, is a universal tool. Even if you switch phones later, as long as they have a USB-C port, this adapter will likely continue to serve you. Think about whether you value the security of a dedicated accessory or the freedom of a universal converter more. Also, consider your audio preferences. If you rely on wired headphones for better battery life and zero latency while watching TV, the Vcddom adapter unlocks that potential on modern phones. If you are stuck with a specific set of bone conduction headphones that lack Bluetooth, the WUNIAK cable is your only bridge back to power.
I would buy the Vcddom USB C for my personal setup because it solves a broader problem in my daily life. As someone who watches a lot of TV and listens to audiobooks during commutes, the ability to charge my phone while listening through high-quality wired headphones is invaluable. The dual jack feature is a bonus I haven't fully utilized yet, but knowing it is there gives me peace of mind for family trips. However, if I were a swimmer who relied on the MARLALL NOS 08W headphones for my training, I would immediately purchase the WUNIAK Charging Cable, as no amount of versatility could replace the specific safety and fit required for that device. For general tv watching needs, the Vcddom adapter offers the flexibility and audio quality that fits my lifestyle best.
