Shaymus Guinn Youth Night
Waterford Girls Soccer experienced a memorable night both on and off the field as the Wolverines continued their outstanding season while honoring the memory of Shaymus Guinn and supporting the fight against pediatric cancer. The program helped raise thousands of dollars for the Shaymus Guinn Foundation while also bringing the community together for a meaningful night centered around awareness and support.
Leading up to the event, Waterford players volunteered their time by helping coach over 150 children, creating connections that extended far beyond the soccer field. The night reflected the impact sports can have in bringing people together for something larger than the game itself.
The Wolverines also took care of business on the field, earning another impressive victory and extending their unbeaten start to the season to 12 matches. With strong performances continuing and momentum building, the night represented another special chapter in an already memorable season for Waterford Girls Soccer.
Waterford Girls Soccer would like to extend a sincere thank you to Waterford Smiles, Gunderson Excavating, Aether Developments, SWD Trucking LLC, and Parallel Employment Group for their generous support and donations that helped make Shaymus Guinn Youth Night such a tremendous success. Their willingness to support our program and the continued fight against pediatric cancer played a major role in creating a special night for our players, families, and community.Â
Because of their support, the event became much more than just a game. It was a night that brought people together, helped raise awareness, created meaningful experiences for over 150 youth players our program volunteered with, and honored the memory of Shaymus Guinn in a way that reflected the strength and spirit of our community.
