Who Are the Wu-Tang Clan?

Wu-Tang clan, a reference to a 1983 Chinese martial arts movie, are a nine-member hip hop group from Staten Island, New York. Leaded up by the multi talented musician RZA, the then ten-member group (Rest in Paradise ODB) formed in 1992 and released their first debut album Enter Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) a year later.

There triple-platinum album is undoubtedly considered one of the greatest hip hop albums of the world, one of three platinum LP’s for the clan. Back in the time, when the west coast music scene was became most popular, Wu-Tang helped put east coast hip hop style on the map with their unique music, with martial arts theme and classic funk and soul samples to their music productions.
