Microglia are resident immune cells critically involved in the progression of many neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease (AD). We are developing small molecules and peptide-based probes to modulate microglial functions to better understand microglial biology and deliver therapeutic candidates targeting microglia for treating AD.
We are developing molecules to label proteins covalently. These molecules include chemical cross-linkers to study protein structures and interactions as well as covalent inhibitors of enzymes.
