Attending & Speaking at Meetings

Under New Jersey law (N.J.S.A. 10:4-12), municipal governing bodies are required to set aside time during meetings for public comment. This gives residents the opportunity to speak, ask questions, and raise concerns about important topics - even if they are not on the agenda. 

If an issue matters to residents, you have the right to talk about it.
