Welcome to 6th Grade! I am so excited to have you in my class this year.
This year we will learn about new topics and master new skills, including learning more about how to organize, monitor, and manage your own learning as you transition from elementary school to middle school. Ultimately, we will learn how to become strong learners.
I am looking forward to getting to know you, hearing stories from your life, and creating fun memories together! We are going to have so much fun this year!

About Me
Hi there! This is my 8th year teaching and I am so excited to continue to be at our school again this year. I have taught 6th grade here for 5 years. Prior to that I taught STEM Lab to K-8th grades at a private school.
When I'm not teaching you can find me enjoying nature, spending time with friends, or attempting to be crafty. In the summer I stay busy with hiking, camping, slack lining, and reading at the park. The winter weather doesn't stop me from going outside! In the winter months I often spend my weekends cross country skiing or snowshoeing.Â
My favorite subject to teach is math, but I also really enjoy analyzing texts in reading. I also love to learn- especially new strategies and activities for our classroom!
You will quickly find out that I am very energetic, quirky, and love to have fun! We are going to have a fabulous year together!
