Women Techmakers Tucson Hackathon Field Guide

This site is meant to be a series of resources and primers on some of the skills that you will need to get the most out of your experience at the 2017 Women Techmakers Tucson Hackathon (Sep 30-Oct 1, 2017). You'll find some short videos, readings and activities to give you new perspectives on how to approach wicked challenges, including some of the ones that you'll try to collaboratively tackle at the Hackathon.

How to Use This Site

On or before September 29, you will want to complete the following activities, all of which are geared towards your creating impactful innovations at the Hackathon.

Here's what you need to do:

Complete the short primer on Empathy.
Learn more about Defining Problems, including How-Why Laddering.
Run through the Prep page on items to bring and the things to keep in mind.
Ask us any Questions that you still have on the Women Techmakers Hackathon website.
