We are Redefining Possible with Women in Georgia!
The hackathon held on April 10–11th, 2025, was a vibrant celebration of youth and technological innovation. With the bold theme "Redefine Possible," the event challenged the boundaries of what technology can achieve and reimagined who shapes its future.
We received 150 registrations, out of which the top 60 participants were selected. These talented individuals formed 16 dynamic startup teams that worked intensively throughout the hackathon and pitched their innovative ideas during the final-pitch showcase. The event concluded with the announcement of first, second, and third place winners, alongside the recipient of a special prize. In addition to these top honors, a variety of other exciting prizes were awarded, recognizing creativity, impact, and collaboration.
⚡Priority Focus of the Hackathon⚡
The core priority of the hackathon was to empower youth, especially women, to take an active role in shaping the future of technology through artificial intelligence. The event aimed to foster inclusive innovation, challenge existing biases, and support the creation of tech solutions that reflect diverse perspectives. By encouraging bold, creative thinking and collaborative problem-solving, the hackathon emphasized breaking systemic barriers, redefining possibilities, and building a more equitable tech future.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our main sponsors and partners — Google and UNFPA Georgia — whose generous support made this event possible. Special thanks also go to our gold and silver sponsors, UN Women Georgia and Terminal Co-Working, for believing in our vision and standing with us as true partners. And a big thank-you to Ilia State University for graciously hosting this year's event!
