Believers came together on a garage at Burbank, Brookside Subdivision Cainta, Rizal in search for God through united prayers. From these constant meetings, the Lord revealed His desire to build a church that would not only bring true worship on His throne but would impact others. Thus WORSHIP THE KING INT'L CHURCH came on May 26, 1996 which was initiated by its Founder and Senior Pastor, Rev. Generoso Bermudez.
After transferring from different places and starting out with four families, WORSHIP THE KING INT'L CHURCH settled at Cainta, Rizal. But God’s faithfulness resulted to willing members/workers in Cainta with daughters churches - WTKI General Santos (2006), WTKI Tarlac (2011), WTKI Antipolo (2012), and WTKI Muzon (2016).
Affiliates churches that held Incubation are at Dumaguete, Iligan, Butuan, General Santos and a Seminar House in Antipolo, Rizal. Also we are targeting for two thousand members; God’s mandate.
WORSHIP THE KING INT'L CHURCH grounds on the principle of “hands-on” training for developing future church leaders. It focuses on Spiritual Growth, Cell group leading, Praise and Worship disciplines and flow sustaining worship. Dance mentoring and computer related training are at hand.
This would be not be possible without the Man of God who responded to the call and walked on the purposes of the Lord.
A teacher with prophetic mantle – these words identify Pr. Generoso Bermudez. The anointing on his life also includes that of the psalmist/praise and worship which were cultivated by the grace of God throughout the last 22 years. Pr. Generoso Bermudez traveled all over Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, Malaysia, Australia, and abroad for leadership training.
Throughout the years WORSHIP THE KING INT'L CHURCH went beyond a group of believers into a family of Christians who chose to surrender their lives to God. And so what is about us is all about God.
Senior Pastor, Worship the King Int'l Church
He was called by God at age 13, graduated at San Sebastian College majored in Economics. He is blessed with a wife named Ana, and three children namely David, Charis Anne and Samuel John.
He has traveled in His ministry throughout Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and overseas conducting training and seminars.
The mantle of apostolic and the prophetic teaching accompany this gifted man of God. The anointing on his life also includes that of the psalmist /praise and worship which he has developed throughout the last 28 years.
