How to get Istanbul:

There are direct flights from several UK cities to Istanbul, which has two international airports;

Ataturk Airport at the European side of the city (http://www.ataturkairport.com).

Sabiha Gökçen Airport at the Asian side of the city (http://www.sgairport.com).

How to get city centre:

Taksim is the most known city centre of Istanbul. There are several ways to reach Taksim from airports.

From Atatürk Airport;

• By metro: Use the M1A (red in the metro map) metro line at the airport and then interchange at Yenikapi station to M2 line (green in the metro map) and get off in Taksim Station. Operating hours are between 6 am and 12 pm.
• By taxi: Use the official taxis at exit gate of international arrivals hall. It will cost approximately 60 TL (app. 13 Euros)
• By shuttle bus: Use HAVABUS busses at the outside of the airport terminal. It will cost 12 TL (app. 3 Euros). (For more information visit http://www.havabus.com/)

From Sabiha Gokcen Airport;

• By shuttle bus: There are HAVABUS shuttles working between Taksim and Sabiha Gokcen Airport every half an hour. The duration of the trip is about an hour and a half depending on the city traffic, the shuttle fee is 15 TL (app. 4 Euros) (For more information visit http://www.havabus.com/).
• By taxi: Round-the-clock taxi service is available at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport. It will cost about 120 TL (app. 40 Euros)

Meeting Venue:

All the technical sessions will be held at Istanbul Technical University Ayazaga Campus. You can use M2 metro line (green in metro map) to reach ITU Ayazaga Campus directly.
