Biomedical Engineering Society is a nationally recognized organization that has existed since 1968 and works to build a community to support those in the biomedical field. Our branch at Washington State University seeks to bring that same community to this college and assist in not only making connections professionally but with a community of students who work towards the same goals together.
Our club is a professionalism organization that focuses on developing connections to on-campus and off-campus resources to better help our fellow scientists be prepared for college experience as well as after college. While we plan events such as lab tours and professional speakers, we also plan community building events to connect with other students.

Do you have to be a bioengineer to join?
No! Our club is open to all kinds of majors who share our common interests in biology, engineering, chemistry, etc.
Is there a fee?
Just a membership fee for $10, although there is an option to become part of the national committee which would be more on top of that. Please ask an officer for more details.
