ASME is a national engineering organization with both local professional and student chapters. The Wichita State chapter is comprised mainly of mechanical engineering majors but we are open to any major and many of our members are studying other disciplines of engineering.Â
You can find more info about ASME at the official website:
Here you can join ASME as an official national member as well as keep up with all news related to ASME and engineering. You can also get in touch with professionals, learn about scholarships, find internships, and learn about the international ASME events held around the world.
Here at Wichita State, we compete in the Human Powered Vehicle Challenge (HPVC) during the annual ASME E-Fest event. You can find out more about this under the HPVC tab on this website or go to the official ASME website listed above.
We hold many events throughout the year, such as competitions, industrial tours, skill workshops, and volunteering opportunities. The information about these will be given when the event closes in. If you have interest in any of these or questions, feel free to get in touch with us on the Contact Us page.
