A more explicit attempt at meaningfully connecting courses and the learning I've achieved during my time in them, here I use writing to group courses together that I think coalesce around similar themes or uses. Along with this document, below I reflect on the reasons for my chosen arrangement.
Whereas the Coursework Overview was arranged in a chart and proceeded chronologically, in the above linked document I arrange according to subfield within the English department: literature, rhetoric/composition, and creative writing. However, while using writing to connect and explore my learning in these grouped courses, I also discovered that my overarching concentration--the implementation of the creative in FY writing course design--was in development all along and found value in myriad ways across these different subfields.
