Canine Unit

The Washington State Role Play K9 division is a specialized unit dedicated to enhancing public safety through expert traffic enforcement, rapid response capabilities, community engagement, and deployment of tracking and apprehension capabilities. K9 officers and dogs are highly trained professionals skilled in operating in high-stress and adverse conditions while on patrol. Their mobility and versatility allow them to respond to any call and respond swiftly to incidents. 

Members of the K9 Division undergo rigorous selection and advanced training to ensure the highest standards of operational excellence and professionalism. Their presence is a visible reminder of the Washington State Role Plays commitment to maintaining safe roadways, locating missing persons, and apprehending subjects. 

Through a combination of enforcement, education, and service, the K9 Division plays an essential role in supporting the overall mission of the Washington State Role Play: to make a difference every day and enhance the safety and security of the people of Washington State.
