WOOSEOK KIM

Hello! I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Democratic Politics at the University of Glasgow working on the ERC-funded project Democracy Under Threat: How Education Can Save It (DEMED), which is led by Dr. Anja Neundorf. My research generally engages in the comparative analysis of institutions to examine policymaking interactions—with a current focus on party systems—and their consequences for the performance, consolidation, and erosion of democracy. I am also interested in distributive politics and understanding the sources of political biases and inequality.

I hold a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE), an MA in Statistics, and an MA/PhD in Political Science—all from the University of Michigan.

Please feel free to contact me at wooseok.kim[at]glasgow.ac.uk if you have any questions about my research. Thank you!
