Hello! I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Democratic Politics at the University of Glasgow working on the ERC-funded project Democracy Under Threat: How Education Can Save It (DEMED), which is led by Dr. Anja Neundorf. My research investigates the factors that contribute to regime resilience in democratic and autocratic contexts, and policymaking conditions that promote more equitable distributive outcomes. Much of my ongoing work on these themes focuses on the role of party systems.

I hold a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, an MA in Statistics, and an MA/PhD in Political Science—all from the University of Michigan.

Please feel free to contact me at wooseok.kim[at]glasgow.ac.uk if you have any questions about my research. Thank you!
