Graduating students who are in the TRIO Talent Search program are eligible to apply for this scholarship to Wallace State Community College. The Talent Search scholarship is valued at $1250 per semester and is awarded for two semesters if qualifications for maintaining it are met. The Talent Search scholarship requires a minimum 2.5 high school GPA to apply. The scholarship is awarded based on a combination of the following:

• Completed scholarship application

• High school GPA

• Essay describing what you hope to do with a college education (250 words minimum, 300 words max)

• Participation in the Talent Search Program

• Community outreach

• Two letters of recommendation

• Completed 2026-27 FAFSA
