It is the aim of this workshop to reflect on existing RAT robots and ongoing research on HRI in the domestic and care facility contexts. In this workshop we want to gather, compare, and combine knowledge gained in various HRI projects with robots in therapy in the US, Europe, and Asia.

This will be a full-day workshop organized in thematic sessions. Sessions are composed of invited talks along with participants’ contributions. We will have group debates to stimulate discussion around the key topics of the workshop.

The workshop session will cover invited talks from Tom Ziemke, Yukie Nagai, Cindy Bethel, Ho Seok Ahn and Takayuki Kanda .
