The workshop aims to invite and accept around 20 extended-abstract papers that align with the aforementioned narrative. Through this process, it seeks to facilitate meaningful interactions between early-career researchers and established senior scholars. The workshop invites papers covering a range of topics related to the theme, encompassing but not limited to the following areas:
· Computing task-level compliance
· Modelling and representation of adaptive systems
· Compliance-focused hardware optimization
· In-hand object manipulation
· Efficiently designing compliant manipulators
· Anthropo- or zoomorphic robot design
· Tactile sensing for end-effectors
· Compliance in the context of human-robot collaboration
· Novel and abstract end-effectors for improved performance
· Trade-offs between precision and adaptability in grasping
· Anthropo- and zoomorphism in industrial applications
The call for papers is open now! To submit a work, please send either 1) the poster you intend to present, including a clear abstract with its main contribution, or 2) and extended abstract (maximum 2 pages). The deadline for submissions has been extended and now is April 30. The organizers will carefully evaluate each submission to ensure it aligns with the focus of the workshop, and we will send feedback to presenters. Please send your submissions directly to the main organizers' emails with the subject line: Workshop ICRA24 - Poster submission [Surname].
