Hi, I've tried making a Gameshow buzzer using code I've found online and adding my own code to make it do more things. Originally it can make a sound, wait for a button to be pressed, detect the button, detect which button was pressed first and end the game. I use 3 different buttons and the idea is that 3 people should be able to play and the person who presses his/her button first gets to answer the question (the question is asked verbally by a "Gameshow host").

The code I've added lets the Gameshow host press one of two buttons printing out if the answer was wrong or right. This works! Although not always. The first part of the game always works but when the host presses the "right answer"- or "wrong answer"-button it doesnt always register and thats the problem. I am to be honest pretty lost in why it only works sometimes and would very much appreciate some help with figuring it out.

a. Section one will consist of every team competing on a Trivia game created on Kahoot. The Point system will follow that of Kahoot rules, the faster you answer the question the more points you receive, and a wrong answer will receive 0 points. At the end of the Kahoot the Top 4 teams will move onto the buzzer round of the competition.

b. The buzzer round of the competition will consist of each team sending one member up to answer multiple choice or open response questions against the other teams. Each question will be worth 150 points. The team to buzzer in first will be able to answer the question, wrong answers will result in a 50 point deduction (You can go negative in points). If the first team to respond gets it wrong, the next team to buzzer in will then get the opportunity to answer correctly until a team answers correctly.

c. The final jeopardy round will be similar to jeopardy in which each team can discuss how many points they would like to wager, from their current score, on a final question that could be taken from any subject. If you answer the question correctly you will receive the points you wagers, if you answer incorrectly you will be deducted those points.

In the event of a tie between two or three of the Top 4 teams, there will be a Math derivation that is to be done on the large whiteboards at the front of the auditorium the first person to get the correct answer will receive the Victory.

Buzzer - 6 Variations! This is the sound of an alarm buzzer that can be used in your video games, trivia games, quiz shows, board games, interface buttons or web projects. It's a classic sound of a warning, wrong answer, error or access denied. Adding more reverb to the sound will create a perfect alarm buzzer for prison, military or any guarded facility. Use these alarming sounds in your action packed or adventure projects or shows and quizzes and you will rule the world! Enjoy this one!

A Forfeit, or Klaxon, is the penalty for giving an incorrect answer to a question on QI. These answers are usually decided by the QI elves in advance and are usually the answers everyone believes to be true.

If a panellist or the audience gives a wrong answer, they will receive a Klaxon. This means they will lose 10 points (sometimes more), an alarm will sound, and their answer will appear on the screens behind them. In the pilot episode, there was no Klaxon or screens so instead, the answer was displayed on a cue card by host Stephen Fry. While the Klaxon was introduced in Series A, Stephen continued to display cue cards until Series B.

While almost always referred to as 'the Klaxon', this is not what the sound is called. Klaxon is a brand name and Klaxon alarms make a very specific noise. The sound used on QI is simply a noise or an alarm. In Series K episode "Knees and Knockers", this exact issue was brought up when the panellists were asked to name the sound being played. Jack Whitehall answered Klaxon and subsequently received a 'Klaxon'.

Among the available sounds you will find various beeps, intermittent beeps, soft explosions and many other audio effects that emphasize incorrect actions or answers. These sound files will help to create an atmosphere of tension caused by a mistake, and can also serve as a fun accent in various situations.

The Get Ready screen alerts the players to get ready for the next question. The player buzzers will not be activated until you press the Spacebar. The Buzzers On screen will then appear and all player buzzers will be activated.

--The Spacebar may be pressed to skip this question and return to the Get Ready screen where all buzzers will be reset and the next question may be presented. Player scores are not affected when the Spacebar is pressed.

The Right screen is displayed when the computer operator presses the letter R (Right answer) on the previous Namesscreen. This congratulatory screen will appear with a victorious DING sound.

The Cubs produce a video segment with players that’s sort of loosely based on the Newlywed Game: One player answers questions about himself, and two other teammates compete to guess what the original player’s answers are, i.e. compete to show who knows their teammate best. (It is confusingly called Bae vs. Ballplayer, because the “show” originally pitted the player’s significant other against a teammate.) This show… whatever. It’s fine. It has moments.

But there was one episode—in which then-Cub Anthony Rizzo competed with Jessica Bryant to answer questions about then-Cub Kris Bryant—that I love. Rizzo and Bryant are best friends. (Bryant and Bryant are spouses.) And Rizzo, you can tell, really believes in the institution of best friendship. You can watch the whole thing if you really want—it’s just Jumbotron-video type stuff, though it does have a pleasant mumblecore sweetness to it—

Rizzo, given a question that most people would treat as a silly gag or something aimed at embarrassing him, takes it completely seriously. He pauses briefly, answers in a full sentence, solemnly and confidently. I believe that he actually knew this answer about Kris Bryant. I believe that he and his friend have spoken about this, and that furthermore Rizzo bothered to remember what his friend had said. The correct answer earned a bell. Neither friend paused to call Rizzo “weird” for knowing, or to laugh at the question, or to distance themselves from it with an exaggerated ironic celebration. The friends respect the quiet importance of spoons.

There’s simply no way you don’t know this sort of thing about your best friend. So Rizzo looked at Bryant as though Bryant had just claimed to be 5-foot-6. Like he felt betrayed by Bryant being obviously wrong about his own taste in music.

And, guess what: Rizzo was right. A minute later, Jessica Bryant also said the answer is country, and the wrong-answer buzzer buzzed again. Nope. No way the person you live with doesn’t know what style of music you prefer. Kris Bryant obviously got this one wrong. He’s deluding himself, telling himself a common fiction (“I’m cool”) that others close to him see right through. That’s why Rizzo looked at him the way friends sometimes do, when they know the friend better than the friend knows himself. Sometimes in that situation you roll your eyes; sometimes you smirk; sometimes you go whaaaaat are you even taaaaaalking about? 2351a5e196
