Les Mis is a musical about Jean Valjean, a convict. He first is a mayor, but due to the Death of Fantine, a humble factory worker, must reveal who he is. He has to hide with Cosette, Fantines daughter for ten years, but the revolution in Paris springs up at the same time. Cosette falls in love with Marius, a simple schoolboy. Eponine, Marius's friend, sacrifices herself for Marius's life, and the musical ends with Jean Valjeans death.
