Essay Topic - Essay Writing Tips For Writing About Not Fitting In

What kind of college essay about not fitting in do you need to write? Does it have to be one big long monster of a paper?

If you want to write a basic college essay about not fitting in then do it slow. You don't want to over write your essay just to make it seem 'somewhat' different, so you might try writing in sentences that loop around one another.

Studying doesn't work this way - it's much better to write in one long sentence. Make sure you punctuate, but to make it seem less like a long sentence don't use a word you're unsure of. For example try not using the phrase 'they look like they should be studying for AP English'. Instead you could use something like,'... or perhaps they should be studying to become prefects, but they look like they're studying for the AP English

Be careful that when you're writing the essay that you don't give your lecture or essay any more attention than is necessary. Although you're not writing about your class, the last thing you want to do is make it sound like it's all you're about.

You could try breaking your essay up into a series of essays, but the main one will have to do most of the talking. Don't just save the argument and summary part of the essay for last because that may make it seem like it's giving away the game.
