Is informed delivery available for businesses?
Informed Delivery is a new customer-facing service from the USPS that allows consumers to preview their mail before it arrives at their homes. The service works by sending subscribers an email that contains a low resolution, gray-scale digital image of up to ten pieces of mail each day.
Signing up for informed delivery is easy, but you need to live at an eligible address and be able to verify your identity during the signing-up process. You must answer multiple-choice questions and upload a government-issued ID document (passport, driving license or government-issued identification card) to be approved for informed delivery.
You can also set reminders for the incoming letters and packages that you need to receive. This feature can help you avoid missing important or urgent deliveries.
