About Us

The Wheat Ridge High School Poms are a Spirit and Competitive Dance Team. WR Poms perform at WRHS Spirit and Athletic Sporting Events, compete in 5-7 local area competitions and travels annually to Nationals.

The WRHS Poms promote and uphold school spirit, develop good sportsmanship among students, support all athletic groups, and develop positive relationships within the school during athletic events, and beyond within the community. The team strives for excellence at all times. They present themselves as positive leaders and role models inside and outside of the school setting.

Our mission is to provide dancers with a successful and meaningful educational experience. Team members have personal goals of academic achievement, increasing dance ability, learning effective time management, and learning to become valuable team members. The success of this program is due to a strong commitment from the dancers, coaches, and parents.
