Boris is a 20-year marketing veteran and strategist, author, mentor, and public speaker. With two decades of experience in advising and integrating marketing tactics and strategies for hundreds of brands and companies, including America’s Fortune 500 and Fortune 50, and educating thousands of business owners across the U.S., Boris is becoming the go-to personality for integrated marketing strategies.
As author of two books, and besides being featured in numerous publications, Boris Gonzalez is recognized as a marketing innovator and national public speaker, speaking at events from the American Marketing Association to the New York Restaurant & Hospitality show, to the Franchise Update Leadership & Development Conference, Night Club, Bar & Restaurant Show, Coffee Fest, Western Hospitality Expo, and colleges and universities around.
Since 2003, Boris created an internship for training and mentoring business students from colleges throughout Southern California on topics of digital marketing and leadership, finding jobs for dozens of students each year. To date, he has coached, advised and mentored nearly 900 students within his program, putting wonderful jobs for many graduates in grasp each year. His second book, is based on his 15 years of experience as a mentor and coach.
Boris holds three Associate Degrees in Biology, Business Administration and Cultural Studies, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from California State University, Fullerton.
Dr. Maria Cozette Akopian is an award-winning marketing professional with over 20 years of experience.
Her firm, Thornbird Marketing has served some of the most reputable healthcare professionals and facilities in Los Angeles.
Additionally, Dr. Akopian is a marketing professor at Cal State LA’s College of Business and Economics and subject matter expert at the College of Professional and Global Education.
Dr. Akopian holds an MBA with Beta Gamma Sigma honors and doctorate degree from USC in Organizational Change and Leadership where she designed the Women First: Leadership and Professional Development Program.
The program was recently adopted by Cal State LA, making it the very first women's leadership program offered in the university's history.
Phil Moore, is currently the Associate Lead for Creative Brand Strategy at Tastemade.
He has been with Tastemade for more than 2 years and has had vast experience in the media industry. Graduating from University of Missouri-Columbia, Phil has studied mass communication/media studies to help enhance his knowledge in advertising, marketing, and learning more about media industry.
He has vast experience within the marketing and sales spectrum and will provide his insights on how to work within this industry especially with an interest in media.
