DvD pt 2 will introduce a new race - Goblins, aswell as the return of a mage sister who first appeared in GvE - Riya! She's the blue mage and let's just say, she's had a complete overhaul in skills!!
Aswell as new races, we will also see the introduction of new "Double Terrains" that can generate 2 elements at the same time - but, come with a big drawback, so be sure to utilise though elements!
It's Tournament time!

So, we haven't seen an Angel card since the early days of GvE2016 (It was only card #4 mind) and since then, nothing. Zilch. Nupe.
Until now! As I took a minor break from DvD part 1, I designed up 9 special angel cards and these have now dropped into certain booster packs currently released on the game crafter.
The cards can also be found on Untap.in! So, if you search for Angels by WrathofCores i'm sure you can make some beasty decks from them :)
They are rather powerful, especially Salazar, pictured above, so what are you waiting for, let's see your ideas!
Alrighty then!!
DvD2019 is finally here (Dragons vs. Demons) and the set comes with 2 lovely pre-constructed decks and a whole bunch of new cards for boosters!
Within the Dragon deck, youo will find a plethora of big beasties housing large attack and health values, some suprising abilities and (what's more) some very tasty burn cards (They are dragons after all :P).
In the demon deck, you will find a whole host of dark dwelling fiends waiting to lurk up on your opponents. These cards specialise in messing with your opponents hand and also bring a great number of ways to quickly charge your core - I won't tell you how though.....oh, wait...go on then....through self-damaging your own Core! Yippee!! (Seriously though, it does have a good ability in the long run :))
Part 2 is well in the works now and will bring forth yet another Pre-constructed deck, however that's being kept under wraps :)
Well, well, well! The livestream went down quite nicely I would say! On Sunday 31/03/19, the creator challenged the collector (PDF TCG) to an all-mighty re-match to see if WaE (set 2) had shifted into his favour. Set 2 brought another 190-odd cards to the table, along with some tasty new effects and card designs.
Myself and PDF have already had an online battle many months ago, and resulted in the collector winning a game under his belt against the creator. Utilising a technique called the Undying Campfire, PDF made use of a sneaky combo with made very good use of units purposely dying and being returned to life re-triggering their "Enter" abilities.
A couple of months after, WoC had a rule update to prevent unlimited combo's and the newest rule stating "A player cannot play more than 2 copies of the same card name in a turn" easily prevented this. So, now PDF had to change tactics....slightly.
Upon logging in, after a slight mis-calculation to daylight savings happening in the UK before USA, there was already a crowd online and live awaiting the ultimate battle for WaE, set 2.
The battle then got off the ground and I was lucky to get turn 1, with a tasty opening hand of a special terrain, a 1-cost unit and some powerful late game cards, I thought I had a good chance at this shot. A couple of turns in, I had 2 units out getting some very early damage in, taking PDF down to about 5800 H.P. Inevitably however, I suffered the curse of Terrain drought - I only had 2 Terrains out for several turns and after not drawing into any for a long period, PDF almost already had a full landscape setup. I was sat here with a Raynus, Kira and Elemental Clash in my hand....waiting....
Eventually, PDF placed down a gemstone and had all the elements he needed to play his setup. The first power unit to hit the board came under his control as a Siege Dragon daunted me through his webcam. This very quickly resulted in a change of pace and eventually wiped out my units whilst waiting on the Terrain I needed to at least get Kira out.
The damage kept coming and I finally hit the hundreds, the critical zone. The turn arose where all PDF had to do was "Hit" with his dragon. Sat back in my chair, I expected this to hit, however, fate gave me an extra turn as he rolled a 1 and missed!
I scarpered up an extra turn however, i drew into something that didn't help my case, and to help end the game, I played my Angel which PDF decided to tinker with by gaining control and sacrificing it to draw 5 lovely cards to his hands. After losing one of my Royal Rare cards, I had no hope and PDF swung in with lethal damage to end the game.
Fun was had, laughs were shared and the crowd were talking in the live chat, all made for some lovely banter, finally, we did a few giveaways which two lucky viewers each won a $10 gift card for the game crafter and Skyscape TCG won a Promo card for making the best comments for us to chuckle over during the fight.
A big thank you to all the viewers and an even bigger thank you to PDF for joining me in this awsome battle. Until next time! Maybe I can best you in set 3 - which is currently under wraps!
You can view the video of the liver stream above, but you may want to skip the early banter if you want to go straight to the battle!
Set 2, is now 100% live, and can be purchased on the game crafter! Booster packs cost the same as GVE and all Starter decks have been updated to include extra game pieces and a booster pack to help players edit their first decks freely.
Also, with release, comes the golden booster which is more of a collectors product - it's a little more expensive but the Rare-to-$ ratio is a lot higher. These packs also include cards from both GVE and WAE - don't forget, GVE Rares now also share the same updated border as WAE Rares!!
WAE2 comes with about another 100 new cards to add to its' arsenal, focusing on adding the elemental powers of Lightning/Thunder which makes for a monster starter deck - "Deck of the Storm". This deck is a very powerful removal deck and includes some monstrous cards and a super heavy Wonder which puts a blanket over all it's elemental units.
WaE 2 also brings with it a selection of new Cores, a legendary weapon (for Iris), the addition of chests and some new human mages. There is also a lot of lore hidden throughout which may even tease Set 3's sneaky doings. Also to note, check out the updated GVE Rares as they now have lore boxes and may even be hiding even more!
89 Cards added to part 2 (198 total for WAE)
5 new royalty rares added.
16 new Rares added.
3 new Cores added.
2 new flip-cards added.
1 Green-RR Promo added - Omega Mage.
GvE R/RR's borders updated to match WaE.
Excessive blank cost points removed on cards.
